A Ballarat Kart Club member has had their kart stolen a few months after having their trailer stolen.
While the trailer was recovered, the kart theft is a separate incident that occurred just before the trailer was recovered.
The 44 Monaco kart has extra significance for its owner, as it was raced as a tribute to Matt Duke in the 2013 club championship.
The kart is Monaco GP6 28/30 National (Chassis number A49656) with a Phoenix steering wheel

Please be advised that since April 1 new laws have come into place in Victoria that prevent smoking within 10 metres of an underaged sporting venue.
For the kart club this effectively means that no smoking is permitted anywhere within the Ballarat Kart Club boundary on race days or practice sessions where juniors are racing.
November is a busy month for Ballarat Kart Club with the annual Mort Page memorial being held on November 17.
Before the open meeting, assistance is required from all available Ballarat members
- Working Bee 1: Saturday November 2 from 9:00am (Finish remainder of new fencing) TRACK CLOSED
- Working Bee 2: Saturday November 9 from 9:00am (General cleanup before open) TRACK CLOSED
- Canteen assistance: November 16 and 17: Please get in contact if you can assist in the canteen for a half day on either the Saturday or the Sunday of the meeting
- Saturday 16: Afternoon controlled practice: Ballarat members will be required for flag points. (Flaggies will be provided for the race day)
November 24 will be final last club day for the year, with the club champion presentations and a bbq.
